RESN has really helped improve my confidence and skills in English Language. My tutor is very knowledgeable, guiding me through content, SAC prep, exam revision, and sharing tips I wouldn’t have known otherwise. You also get the chance to ask anonymous questions for other VCE and HSC subjects, even if you’re not being tutored in them. If you’re unsure about tutoring, RESN is a great place to try the staff are incredibly supportive, make you feel valued, and it only costs you your time.

So far, everything has been responsive, and I have been getting feedback on my work. It was great! I was encouraged and felt motivated and confident to write an essay.

I think my tutoring has been going pretty well. Shani [my tutor] explains things well, and I feel I can ask questions if I need to. I believe I am getting the support I need from the RESN program.

My sessions with Kira [my tutor] are going very well, and it’s been great to share our thoughts and experiences together. I think Kira’s teaching really helps me understand more concepts, and so far, it’s been nice to have such a supportive relationship.

The lessons with Daniel [my tutor] are running very smoothly. He is very accommodating and understanding, helping whenever I don’t understand a question. He allows time to work it out before explaining it in great detail. I recently sent him some class worksheets, and he had no problem going through them and helping me out. Overall, he’s a great tutor!

Zoe [my tutor] is awesome! Tutoring is going very well, and she has put so much time into my lessons, which I greatly appreciate.

It’s all going great! :) I’m finding the flexibility of the lessons such a benefit—I can bring questions and focus on problem areas, which is really helpful. No complaints so far; I feel very lucky to receive such comprehensive help for free!

My sessions with Eugene are going great. He creates a fantastic learning environment and tailors his approach to my unique learning style. I appreciate the engaging activities, like answering chapter questions together step by step, and the notes he provides, as I often struggle to make my own. I don’t have any negative feedback, but having more than one session a week or longer sessions would be ideal. Overall, I’m truly grateful for the amazing sessions, and I’m finally starting to understand the methods!

It’s going really well. We focus on specific topics based on what we ask for each week, which is great, and the exam tips and tricks are really useful. Overall, it’s been really helpful, and he should keep doing what he’s doing because it’s working!

The sessions have been great and very helpful, with Max being a fantastic tutor. I appreciate the organised lesson structure and set work—it’s not just “do this, do that.” Max goes above and beyond, and his knowledge and generosity with his time make this the best and most valuable tutoring I’ve had. I’m really pleased with how things are going.

My sessions with Samantha are going great. I’m finding them super useful as we work at my own pace and talk through things I’ve learned previously.
