RESN wouldn’t be successful without its dedicated volunteer staffing team!
Alongside a full time General Manager and Executive Officer, our volunteer staff consist of a group of university students from across Australia who manage our internal and external business operations.
As a RESN staff volunteer, you are able to work under any of our three portfolio’s, including in areas of:
Business Development
Marketing & Communications
Educational
Services
Systems & Technology
School Engagement
People &
Culture
Volunteering as a staff member within our organisation is a great way to upskill in an area of your choice, while connecting with other young, likeminded people across Australia.
Staff Criteria

Current university student/recent graduate, or experience with Education and/or NFPs
-
A genuine interest in not for profit volunteering

A passion for empowering rural and regional students through education

Proven excellence in communication, organisation and teamwork skills
Our Expectations
-
A time commitment of 2 to 4 hours per week during school terms, for at least 12 months

Attend occasional mandatory training sessions, ad hoc meetings, and respond promptly to communication from the RESN team

Professionally represent RESN and engage with your fellow RESN tutors and subject team respectfully

It is mandatory for all volunteers, upon application or during onboarding, to hold a current WWCC card or equivalent.
